About Jin Shin Jyutsu
Jin Shin Jyutsu, physio-philosophy, is an ancient art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. It brings balance and promotes optimal health and well-being thus facilitating our own profound healing capacity.
Through Jin Shin Jyutsu our awareness and understanding are awakened to the knowledge that we are all endowed with the ability to harmonize and balance ourselves-spiritually, mentally and physically. This beautiful, simple art is our inheritance. Our hands are used as our built-in "jumper cables" to energize the body's run-down battery. This enables us to help ourselves and those who are in need of help.
For those of us addressing existing stress or health disharmonies, or for those simply wishing to participate actively in maintaining health, harmony, and well-being, the Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu® is a simple and powerful tool, available to us all.
What is in a typical session with a therapist?
Each session lasts approximately an hour. The "Safety Energy Locks" are held over clothing in a series of flows that open energy pathways. These pathways can become disharmonized through emotions, injury, heredity, diet, etc. "Problems" become "projects" as FEAR ("False Evidences Appearing Real") becomes FUN (Fulfilment, Understanding, No-thing).
Each session is individualized based on pulse listening, body reading, and client requests. Self-help techniques may be given at the end of the session to continue the body's healing process
